Expansion of the Wurmberg ski area
04.10.2011 13:43
The Wurmberg offers the largest and highest ski area in Germany's northernmost mountain range, the Harz. Until December 2012 the Wurmbergseilbahn GmbH & Co. KG plans to invest a total of eight million Euros. This will turn the Wurmberg into an even more attractive alpine ski area with additional and widened runs, a powerful snowmaking system and new high-capacity lifts. Long lines, boring catwalks and unreliable snow will no longer turn away keen skiers and boarders from this beautiful mountain. Montenius Consult, that was already involved in the design of the expansion project, has supported the Wurmbergseilbahn in the course of realizing this project, among other things coordinating the procedure in order to receive EU-subsidies and financing.
